Vietnamese passport holders can apply through Azerbaijan's ASAN e-Visa system. The permission is for one entry, with up to 30 days of stay during a 90-day validity period. The important preparation task is to know when information is still a draft and when it has become the application sent for an official decision.
Review your Vietnamese application before submission
An enquiry can begin with provisional travel dates or a question about the passport. That is a useful starting point for advice, but it should not be mistaken for a completed application. Before submission, establish the travel document, intended arrival and information requested by the electronic form.
Keep unresolved questions visible. If a departure date is still being discussed, describe it as provisional rather than enter an invented date to make the file look complete. A reviewer can explain which information is needed next; a polished-looking record containing guesses is harder to review than a clearly identified gap.
For a Vietnamese traveller whose application is being organised by someone else, agree who supplies the final information. A person arranging accommodation may know the itinerary but not the passport details. The applicant should have the opportunity to compare the completed record with the passport before it leaves the preparation stage.
Decide which passport the application describes
Vietnam appears on the official eligibility list. Residence abroad, the nationality of an organiser or the location of a payment does not replace the nationality of the travel document. With dual nationality, select the passport to be used for Azerbaijan and prepare the whole application around it.
Compare the identification-page attachment with the number, names, date of birth and document dates entered. A current photograph of the correct page is useful only if the final saved file remains readable. Open the attachment itself, rather than rely on the appearance of a thumbnail in a message.
ASAN requires passport validity extending at least three months beyond the e-Visa's expiry. Work from that expiry date when checking the document; counting from the planned return alone uses a different reference. An unusual, emergency or non-national travel document needs its actual category assessed before an ordinary-passport application service is purchased.
Make changes while they can still inform the application
Suppose a traveller initially sends a passport number from an old booking and later supplies a replacement passport. The preparation file should be reconciled before submission: the typed number, uploaded page and selected nationality must all refer to the intended document. Keeping both numbers without explaining which is current leaves an avoidable ambiguity.
A correction sent to a consultancy is not evidence that a government record has changed. Ask whether the application has already been submitted and what the next supported step is. ASAN warns that an e-Visa with information inconsistent with the travel document is invalid; a private email cannot repair that inconsistency by itself.
Before issue, distinguish a request for clarification from an official outcome. After issue, inspect the actual document before treating the file as finished. If something is wrong, raise the precise discrepancy and establish the appropriate action rather than annotate the issued PDF and assume the edited copy has official effect.
Check three travel limits separately
The 90-day validity gives the period in which the e-Visa can be used; it does not grant a 90-day stay. The permitted stay is up to 30 days and must fit within the visa's validity. Plan an intended departure that respects both limits instead of automatically adding 30 days to a late arrival.
One entry is another separate condition. Leaving and returning is not covered merely because unused calendar days remain on the document. Review a proposed itinerary against the actual entry permission before treating a second arrival as part of the same application.
These distinctions matter while dates are still being chosen. Once a result is issued, a changed plan should be compared with the printed conditions. The general visa questions provide a useful starting point for discussing the limits without turning a draft itinerary into an assurance of eligibility.
Choose timing after the file is ready
Official Standard processing is three working days; the Urgent option is three hours, including non-working days and holidays. ASAN advises applying at least the corresponding period before arrival. Urgent processing shortens the official assessment timetable; it does not remove the need for accurate fields or a legible passport attachment.
Allow separately for obtaining answers, reviewing the request and arranging payment. A message sent late in the evening with missing information is not equivalent to an official application already under assessment. Leave room to receive the outcome, check it and prepare the printed copy to accompany the application passport.
What happens when you request assistance
AZERBAIJAN TRAVEL & VISA CONSULTANCY is a private service operated by Nexus Solutions Global Ltd. It can help turn the information supplied into a coherent application file, identify unresolved points and communicate the result. It is independent of the Azerbaijani authorities and cannot promise their approval.
Send the request first. The team reviews suitability and the information available, clarifies the proposed service and payment, then takes payment before carrying out the agreed work and appropriate official application steps. The review and service process explains that sequence. Private preparation and payment time sit outside the official ASAN processing period.
The assisted Standard service totals 50 USD and the assisted Urgent service totals 100 USD, including the relevant government charges. These are the consultancy's service totals. Read the fee and processing explanation before accepting an option so that the service ordered matches both the completed file and the journey's timing.
