Slovenian passport holders are eligible for Azerbaijan's ASAN e-Visa. The permission allows one entry and up to 30 days of stay within a 90-day validity period. Travelling together can make organising dates easier, but each traveller's passport information, suitability and eventual document still need an individual check.
Review every Slovenian traveller separately
People on the same journey may share accommodation arrangements and proposed arrival dates. Those are useful common planning details. They do not establish that everyone has the same nationality, the same passport expiry or the same identity information for an application.
An organiser should therefore distinguish itinerary information from the records belonging to each person. Reusing a confirmed address where it genuinely applies is different from copying a passport number between files. Check who each item describes before it is entered or attached.
Organise the files so that each passport and application can be clearly matched to its owner. The aim is to avoid attributing a companion's document or outcome to the wrong applicant simply because the trip has been arranged as one booking.
Check nationality before assuming the same route
Slovenia appears on the ASAN eligibility list. That answers the nationality question for a Slovenian passport holder, but a companion travelling on a different country's document requires their own eligibility assessment. A shared departure point does not give the group one nationality.
With more than one nationality, each person should select the passport intended for Azerbaijan. ASAN requires the nationality choice to match the travel document used. Keep that person's attachment and typed identity details consistent with their selected passport, rather than borrow whichever page is most readily available.
Identify emergency, temporary or non-national documents before ordering an ordinary-passport service. A suitable passport held by one companion does not confirm acceptance of another person's unusual document. The common eligibility answers offer context while the actual document category remains a question for the individual request.
Passport dates need a person-by-person comparison
ASAN's passport-validity requirement is at least three months beyond the expiry of the e-Visa. Two people with identical holiday dates can have different results from that check because their passports expire on different dates. Do not infer that a companion's passport is sufficient because the organiser's has already been reviewed.
Work from the intended visa period, not only the planned return. A passport lasting beyond the holiday does not by itself demonstrate compliance with the visa-expiry reference. If one traveller is replacing a passport, resolve which document will be used before preparing that application.
Read each identification-page attachment after it has been saved. Names, number and dates must be legible in the version that will actually be submitted. An unreadable passport photo-page attachment is an ASAN rejection ground; readable evidence in another companion's file does not repair it.
Review the fields without carrying over identity details
Compare names, birth details, passport number and document dates with the relevant booklet. Follow the current form instructions, including the format requested for each field. An organiser should not assume that a saved customer profile contains the latest passport information for everyone.
If two attachments look similar in a message list, open them before deciding which belongs to an applicant. A file's position in the conversation or its abbreviated filename is not conclusive evidence. Where ownership is unclear, ask the traveller to identify the document before the record is completed.
Give each applicant a chance to check their own details while the application is still being prepared. Shared arrangements can be efficient without removing individual oversight. A focused question about one uncertain field is better than copying a companion's answer merely to finish the set.
The trip must fit every issued permission
A 90-day visa validity period does not authorise a 90-day stay. Each ASAN e-Visa permits up to 30 days of stay within its own validity. Check arrival and departure against the actual document issued to each traveller, even when all applications began with the same intended dates.
The e-Visa is also single-entry. A companion leaving earlier and planning to return cannot assume that the rest of the group's continuing visit makes their own permission reusable. Discuss the actual intended itinerary before relying on one document for separate arrivals.
After grant, compare each issued visa with the correct passport, then print the checked document for its holder. If one person's result contains a discrepancy, do not replace it with a companion's correct-looking file or edit the PDF privately. Establish the proper next step for that applicant.
Agree who handles the service and correspondence

Official assessment takes three working days for Standard or three hours for Urgent, including non-working days and holidays for Urgent. ASAN advises applying at least the relevant interval before arrival. Private review and payment sit outside those periods.
