Seychellois citizens can apply for an Azerbaijan ASAN e-Visa if their passport and travel plans meet the relevant requirements. The usual e-Visa allows one entry and a stay of up to 30 days during its 90-day validity. This guide explains which details to prepare and how to check them before submitting your request.
What to prepare for a Seychellois e-Visa application
Start with the passport intended for Azerbaijan. It supplies the identity information and the identification-page evidence against which the application can be compared. A travel itinerary supplies intended dates and arrangements; an email address supplies a route for correspondence and the outcome. These items support different parts of preparation.
A readable passport page does not remove the need to check typed information, and a well-organised itinerary does not establish nationality. Keep those tasks distinct when reviewing a request. The useful question is whether the file accurately describes this traveller and visit, not whether every document found on a general visa checklist has been collected.
Follow the instructions in the electronic application when preparing your documents. If a reviewer asks for further information, clarify which part of the application it supports and whether it is needed for the official submission or for the private assistance you have requested.
How to Prepare a Clear Copy of Your Passport
Save a clear image of the passport's identification page and open that saved version. Check that the names, number and dates are legible and the photograph is clear. A small preview can make an image appear satisfactory while concealing reflection across a number or missing information near an edge.
ASAN states that an unreadable photo-page attachment leads to rejection. If a copy has been shared or reduced, examine the final version that will actually be submitted. Accurate typing cannot make an illegible attachment usable, and the reviewer should not have to reconstruct obscured characters from another record.
Use that same passport for the entered details. An older application or saved booking may contain an earlier document number. Compare the completed fields directly with the current booklet, especially if the passport has been replaced since the last journey organised by the same person.
Establish the document before arranging payment
Seychelles nationality eligibility does not settle every temporary, emergency or non-national document category. Identify anything unusual in the initial request and establish its ASAN suitability before purchasing an ordinary-passport service. A short country-list entry is not a substitute for the answer applicable to the actual document.
For more than one nationality, choose the passport used for Azerbaijan before filing. ASAN requires nationality selection to correspond to that travel document and treats the e-Visa as invalid if the application document differs from it. One person can hold two passports without their numbers and uploaded pages being interchangeable.
Check the passport-validity explanation in our FAQ before deciding whether renewal can wait. ASAN requires the document to remain valid for at least three months after the e-Visa expires. The end of a short holiday can be earlier than that visa expiry, so it is not the reference to use for this condition.
Connect the intended dates to the permission
Have the intended Azerbaijan arrival, accommodation and requested contact information ready. Read the itinerary through any connections before selecting the arrival date. If an organiser changes the booking during preparation, compare the latest version with the information about to be submitted.
The ordinary 90-day validity window and the maximum 30-day stay are separate limits. A late arrival does not add 30 days beyond the printed expiry. Departure must fit within both the permitted stay and the final validity date, even if the original visit was expected to be much shorter.
Single entry matters when another destination is included in the journey. Leaving Azerbaijan and returning is a further-entry question; unused validity does not make the same permission reusable. ASAN allows a new electronic application only after leaving Azerbaijan, so clarify a return plan before relying on another payment as a solution.

Check Your Issued e-Visa Before Travelling
Monitor the nominated email and identify the official outcome rather than treat an enquiry acknowledgement or receipt as permission. If an e-Visa is issued, compare its passport information and limits with the actual booklet and latest itinerary. Print it and carry it with the matching travel document.
Retain the checked file so that a later change can be assessed against the permission, not just the original plan. A correction to a private customer record does not amend an official visa. Raise a discrepancy before travel while the actual documents are available for comparison.
