Portuguese passport holders can apply for an Azerbaijan ASAN e-Visa for a suitable visit. The usual permission allows one entry and a stay of up to 30 days during its 90-day validity. Useful review has a practical purpose. It can identify that a typed number differs from the supplied passport page, that an attachment is difficult to read or that the intended stay does not fit the proposed visa period. Finally compare the itinerary with the permission requested. Validity, stay and entry count are separate limits. A reviewer can flag a proposed return visit that is being treated as part of a single entry, or an intended departure beyond visa expiry. Those are concrete matters to resolve before relying on an application plan.
Apply the passport rule to the right date
For ASAN, the passport must remain valid for at least three months beyond the e-Visa expiry. A comparison with the holiday's return date alone is incomplete. Establish the intended visa period so that the passport check uses the reference specified by the official system.
Portugal's country-list entry concerns nationality. It does not mean every emergency, temporary or non-national document has already been accepted for an electronic application. Identify such a category at the request stage and establish its actual suitability before paying for an ordinary-passport service.
If the traveller has two nationalities, decide which passport will be used for Azerbaijan. The form's nationality selection, uploaded page and entered details must follow that decision. The place where the review is requested does not replace the nationality or document information belonging to the applicant.
Keep the advice within the electronic application
Prepare the information and passport evidence requested by the ASAN electronic form. A generic embassy checklist may concern a different type of application. If more information is needed, establish which application question it answers.

Choose processing with preparation already considered
Official Standard assessment takes three working days. Official Urgent assessment takes three hours, including non-working days and holidays. ASAN advises applying at least the relevant period before arrival. Reviewing documents and arranging private payment require their own allowance before that assessment timetable is relevant.
Urgent service does not remove an unresolved identity issue. Complete the checks first, then select the option appropriate to the journey. Leave time after the decision to open the issued document and compare its identity information, validity and stay with the plan.
A granted e-Visa must be printed and carried with the passport used for the application. The 90-day validity does not permit a 90-day stay: the stay is up to 30 days and must remain within that period.
