Nepali passport holders are eligible for Azerbaijan's ASAN e-Visa when the travel document and visit suit the electronic route. If another person enters the information, ask to review the completed file before official submission. The useful check is what the application actually says about you, not simply whether a helper has finished typing or received a payment.
Review the final application before submission
A helper may collect details in a message or working document before entering the application. That can support preparation, but the final entered fields may differ through a typing error, an old saved answer or a change made during the process. Review the version intended for official submission rather than assume the original information has carried across unchanged.
Read one identity field at a time against the current Nepali passport. Include names, nationality, document number and relevant dates. If the helper asks you to confirm the file, keep the passport in view instead of approving from memory or from a booking that contains abbreviated information.
Identify any field you are unsure about and obtain the relevant instruction before filing. Ask the person helping you to explain how the passport information will be entered, then compare the completed answers with the document before confirming submission.
Confirm which evidence will accompany those answers
Open the identification-page attachment selected for the application. It should show the same passport whose details you have just read. When a replacement passport has been obtained, check both the number entered and the image chosen; updating one does not automatically update the other.
Examine the actual saved copy for readable names, number, dates and photograph. A clear original may have lost detail after sharing, or a crop may remove information at the edge. ASAN warns that an unreadable attached photo page leads to rejection. Accurate data entry does not compensate for evidence the issuing system cannot read.
If several travellers are being helped together, confirm your own attachment rather than rely on a folder label or shared booking. An organiser's practical system can make files easier to handle, but it does not replace checking the actual document associated with the applicant.
Keep nationality and passport choice explicit
Nepal's appearance on the eligibility list applies to the relevant nationality, not every person living at a Nepali address. A companion travelling on another national passport needs their own eligibility assessment. Residence and itinerary information should not be copied into a nationality field simply because they describe where the group is based.
For someone holding more than one nationality, ASAN requires the selected country to correspond to the passport used for Azerbaijan. If the application document differs from the travel document, the e-Visa is invalid. Tell the helper which passport has been chosen and keep the final application tied to it.
Identify a temporary, emergency or non-national document before purchasing an ordinary-passport service. The nationality entry alone does not settle acceptance of every document category. An applicant's review should make that uncertainty visible rather than approve a routine category just to allow preparation to continue.
Read travel information with the same care as identity
Check the intended arrival in Azerbaijan across any connections and prepare the accommodation and contact information requested by the form. If an organiser has revised the journey, make sure the application is not still based on the earlier version. A correct passport number cannot make an outdated arrival date current.
The normal e-Visa allows a single entry and up to 30 days of stay within 90 days of validity. Compare departure as well as arrival with the actual permission when issued. A 90-day validity window is not a 90-day stay allowance, and leaving and returning is another entry question despite unused dates.
The passport must remain valid for at least three months beyond the e-Visa's expiry. Our passport and travel FAQ explains that reference. If renewal is planned before travel, settle it before final submission; permission linked to an earlier document should not be assumed to transfer automatically.
Know When Your Application Will Be Submitted
Before agreeing that the file is ready, establish whether it is still in preparation or is about to be officially submitted. Correcting a working draft is different from seeking instructions about information already filed or a visa already issued. A consultant's customer-record update cannot by itself change the authority's document.
ASAN publishes three working days for Standard issue and three hours for Urgent, including holidays and non-working days for the urgent route. Submit at least the corresponding period before arrival. Allow separate time for reviewing and confirming the information before that official clock begins.

Carry out a fresh check when the outcome arrives
Keep access to the nominated email and ask for the actual outcome, not just confirmation that the preparer has completed their work. If an e-Visa is issued, compare it with the passport and latest itinerary, print it and carry it with the matching document.
