Iranian citizens are listed as eligible for Azerbaijan's ASAN e-Visa. For an appropriate passport and visit, the ordinary electronic visa provides single entry and up to 30 days of stay within 90 days of validity. Build the identity record from the travel document and the form's actual instructions, rather than from a preferred spelling, a booking abbreviation or an assumption about how names should be divided.
Enter your details as shown in your Iranian passport
A passport can contain several kinds of information close together. Before copying an entry, identify what the application is requesting: name, nationality, document number, date of birth or expiry. A familiar identifier from another account is not necessarily the travel-passport number being requested here.
Use the identity information in the passport you will take to Azerbaijan. Follow the name-entry instructions in the application and ask for clarification if they do not clearly address your name. Resolve the question before submission so that the entered details correspond to the document.
If you have previously used a shortened name in a booking, compare the application directly with the passport rather than treating that booking as the source. The aim is an accurate description of the existing traveller and document. Completing every box is less useful than resolving a genuine uncertainty before the application is sent.
Keep one identity source in view during preparation
When a relative or consultant helps enter information, provide a readable identification page and review the resulting answers. A second person may be able to read an overlooked detail, but assistance does not create authority to guess an uncertain one. Ask which field needs clarification and settle that specific point.
The same discipline helps when preparing several files. Shared travel dates and accommodation can sit alongside individual passport details, but one person's identity record should never supply another's name or number. Read the applicant's own evidence when moving between applications, even if the travellers have similar names.
Residence and citizenship also belong in their respective places. An Iranian national living abroad remains an Iranian-passport applicant when that is the document selected for the journey. Another person residing in Iran may hold a different nationality. Establish that person's actual route separately, rather than applying the lead traveller's eligibility to everyone.
Resolve Passport Questions Before Payment
An emergency, temporary or non-national document requires its own suitability check. The Iranian nationality entry on the ASAN list does not establish acceptance of every document issued in Iran. Identify the category in the initial enquiry so that the right question can be answered before an ordinary-passport application is purchased.
For a person holding more than one nationality, choose the travel passport before entering the final application. ASAN requires nationality selection to correspond to that document, and the e-Visa is invalid when the application document differs from the one used for travel. A second passport should not be treated as a convenient replacement after permission has been issued.
Our initial review and payment stages allow unresolved document questions to be raised before paid work begins. Describe the uncertainty precisely: which passport is involved and which requested information cannot yet be confirmed. A broad request to make the form work can conceal the detail the reviewer actually needs.
Support the entered information with a readable page
Examine the saved passport image for clear names, photograph, document number and dates. Reflections or a cropped edge can conceal the very field that needs checking. ASAN states that an unreadable photo-page attachment results in rejection, so inspect the final uploaded version rather than relying on the quality of an original stored elsewhere.
Review passport expiry at the same time. ASAN requires at least three months of validity beyond the e-Visa's expiry. Our common passport and eligibility answers explain the reference point. The end of a short holiday is not necessarily the end of the visa's validity, so counting only from the holiday can miss a shortfall.
If the passport will be renewed before travel, finish that decision before preparing the final identity record. A replacement number with an earlier scan is an inconsistency, and an e-Visa issued for one passport should not be assumed to transfer automatically to its successor.
Choose a timetable after the identity record is settled
ASAN publishes three working days for Standard issue and three hours for Urgent issue, including non-working days for the urgent service. Submission is required at least the corresponding period before arrival. Clarification, private review and payment arrangements happen before the official assessment period starts.

Carry the document that the permission describes
After issue, read the actual e-Visa beside the passport. Check identity information and number, then validity, permitted stay and entries. Print the permission for use with the same travel document. An acknowledgement, receipt or corrected private customer record is not an amendment to the official visa.
Check the latest itinerary as well. Single entry does not cover leaving Azerbaijan and returning simply because dates remain unused. Departure must fit both the permitted stay and the final visa date. If a discrepancy appears, seek instructions before travelling on a document whose details have not been resolved.
