Cuban passport holders are included on Azerbaijan’s ASAN e-Visa list. An eligible applicant can prepare a suitable short-visit application electronically, with the normal permission allowing one entry and up to 30 days within 90 days of validity. Base the application on the actual travel passport rather than confusing citizenship with the country where the form is being prepared.
Use your Cuban passport nationality, not your residence address
A Cuban national may be arranging the journey while living elsewhere. The application’s nationality selection should correspond to the passport intended for Azerbaijan. A residence address or residence card from another country is a different fact and should not be used as a replacement for citizenship.
The same principle applies to someone resident in Cuba who travels on another national passport. That document needs its own eligibility check in the ASAN eligible-country directory. A shared starting point or itinerary does not give companions identical visa eligibility.
ASAN’s conditions also address multiple citizenship. Choose the nationality corresponding to the passport used for the journey and keep that same document for the number, dates and identification-page evidence. An e-Visa is invalid when the application document differs from the one used for travel.
Identify the document category before buying assistance
Cuba’s entry on the list establishes nationality eligibility for an appropriate electronic application. It should not be extended automatically to every temporary, emergency or non-national document issued there. If the document is unusual, describe its category in the initial enquiry and obtain confirmation of suitability before selecting an ordinary-passport package.
Check whether a passport renewal is planned before travel. A replacement can change the number and dates even if the holder’s name is unchanged. Avoid preparing the form from one document while intending to carry another.
If replacement happens after an application or permission exists, seek instructions before relying on the earlier e-Visa. Updating a private record does not transfer an official permission, and a second valid passport is not an automatic substitute for the document used to apply.
Check the passport image against the entered details
Prepare the identification-page copy from the chosen travel passport and open the saved image. Check the photograph, names, number and dates. Look for cropping, glare and lost detail, including changes that may have occurred when the image was shared or resized.
ASAN says an unreadable attached photo page leads to rejection. Correct typed information does not compensate for a copy the system cannot read. Replace the file before submission rather than relying on the reviewer to reconstruct the document from other messages.
Read each field’s instructions before entering information. Use the passport for identity details rather than copying an old booking profile. Prepare accurate intended arrival, accommodation and contact information as appropriate to the form. If a field cannot be interpreted confidently, obtain clarification instead of inventing an answer.
Check passport expiry from the correct reference
ASAN requires the passport to remain valid for at least three months after the e-Visa expires. The reference is the visa’s end date, even when the planned visit ends sooner. Counting only from the holiday departure can underestimate the required validity.
Compare the intended visa period and passport expiry before selecting Standard or Urgent. If renewal is needed, resolve it first and prepare one consistent file from the settled document. A faster official assessment cannot extend the passport’s validity or correct a mismatched upload.
The e-Visa’s own normal validity is 90 days, with up to 30 days of stay permitted within it. Those are separate limits. Both the maximum stay and the final printed validity date must accommodate departure. A late arrival does not create another 30 days beyond expiry.
Keep the whole itinerary within one-entry limits
Check the Azerbaijan arrival date across any overnight connections. The date a journey begins in Cuba or another country may differ from the date of arrival in Azerbaijan. If the booking changes, compare the revised arrival and departure with the actual permission.
The normal electronic visa is single entry. Leaving Azerbaijan and returning needs separate consideration even when the first visit was short. Unused days do not restore an entry already used. ASAN permits a new electronic application only after leaving Azerbaijan, so another payment while still inside should not be treated as an automatic return arrangement.
Describe the visit honestly. The electronic visa does not authorise paid employment. If an activity is uncertain, raise the ASAN suitability question before purchasing assistance rather than choosing a convenient short-visit description.
Understand the service sequence and official timetable
ASAN publishes Standard issue within three working days and Urgent within three hours regardless of holidays and non-working days. The application must be made at least the corresponding period before arrival. Allow preparation time and time to read the result as well as the official assessment itself.
AZERBAIJAN TRAVEL & VISA CONSULTANCY, operated by Nexus Solutions Global Ltd., first receives your request and reviews suitability. We explain the service and payment before starting the agreed work after payment. The appropriate official application follows, and we communicate the authority’s outcome.
For an applicable assisted application, Standard is 50 USD total and Urgent 100 USD total, including relevant government charges. These are independent private service prices. Initial review and time before payment are separate from official assessment. No package guarantees approval.
Use a monitored email and check its spelling. Application and payment messages are different from the issued permission. When a visa is issued, inspect it against the passport, print it and carry it with that same document. Obtain instructions about any discrepancy before travel.
