Bulgarian passport holders are included on the ASAN e-Visa eligibility list for Azerbaijan. An appropriate electronic application can provide single entry and up to 30 days of stay within a 90-day validity period. Prepare the documents and dates before selecting a timetable, and distinguish the official assessment from any private assistance used to organise the file.
Our application support and the official ASAN process
ASAN is the official electronic issuing system. AZERBAIJAN TRAVEL & VISA CONSULTANCY is an independent private service operated by Nexus Solutions Global Ltd. A request to our team starts a service review; it is not itself a government application or a grant of permission.
If you want assistance, send the request first so that our team can assess the passport and visit. We explain the agreed service and payment before work begins after payment, and later communicate the authority’s outcome.
This distinction matters when planning time. An enquiry may still need a clearer passport copy or clarification of a field. That preparation occurs before official submission. Do not calculate the government’s assessment period from the moment you send a question to a private company.
Choose a processing option for a complete application
ASAN publishes Standard issue within three working days. It requires the application at least three working days before arrival. Count working days rather than treating three consecutive dates as automatically sufficient, and leave time to inspect the issued document.
Urgent issue is within three hours regardless of holidays and non-working days, with application required at least three hours before arrival. A shorter timetable does not change the passport, document or accuracy conditions. Resolve the underlying file first instead of selecting Urgent while identity information remains uncertain.
Our applicable assisted ASAN totals are 50 USD for Standard and 100 USD for Urgent, including relevant government charges. These are private consultancy prices. The authority decides whether to grant the visa. Allow separately for preliminary review and payment before official assessment begins.
Check the passport before entering the form
Use the passport intended for Azerbaijan as the source for name, number, nationality and dates. A national identity card or residence document should not supply a substitute number where the form asks for the travel passport. An old booking profile may also contain details that changed after renewal.
The passport must remain valid for at least three months after the e-Visa expires. Count from the visa’s end date, not just the final day of a short holiday. Settle any planned replacement before applying so that the number and uploaded identification page belong to the same travel document.
An e-Visa linked to an earlier passport should not be assumed to transfer to a replacement. If the document changes after submission or issue, seek instructions before travel. Updating a private customer account cannot change the document to which the authority issued the permission.
Match nationality and evidence
For dual nationality, choose the country corresponding to the passport that will be used for Azerbaijan. ASAN makes an e-Visa invalid when the application document differs from the document used for the journey. Do not combine one passport’s nationality with another passport’s image or number.
Living in Bulgaria does not make every resident a Bulgarian national-passport applicant. Check a different passport separately in the eligible-country directory. A temporary, emergency or non-national document requires confirmation of the actual category’s suitability before an ordinary-passport package is purchased.
Make a readable copy of the chosen passport’s identification page and inspect the saved file. Check names, dates, number and photograph for glare, blur and cropping. ASAN’s conditions state that an unreadable attached photo page results in rejection. Correct typed information is not a substitute for readable evidence.
Prepare the itinerary without extending the permission
Have the intended Azerbaijan arrival, accommodation and contact information ready for the application. Confirm the arrival date across any overnight connections. If a booking changes, update the information before filing or compare the new journey with the issued permission afterwards.
The normal ASAN visa has 90 days of validity and permits a stay of up to 30 days within it. The longer window does not authorise a three-month stay. Check that departure fits both the maximum stay and the final printed validity date.
Single entry means that leaving Azerbaijan and returning is another entry question. Unused time does not make the first visa reusable. ASAN allows a new electronic application only after leaving Azerbaijan. Do not assume a second payment while still inside provides an automatic further-entry arrangement.
Keep the decision separate from process messages
Enter an email address that will be monitored and check it carefully. ASAN sends application, payment and decision notifications there. If someone assists, agree how the actual outcome and issued document will reach the traveller.
An acknowledgement or receipt should not be treated as approval. Open the issued e-Visa, compare its passport details, and inspect validity, stay and entry count. Print it and carry it with the same passport. If details differ, obtain instructions before relying on it for travel.
Only the competent authority decides the application. Our review can help prepare a consistent file but cannot authorise paid employment, waive ASAN conditions or promise admission. Raise an uncertain proposed activity during the initial review rather than choosing a convenient short-visit description.
