Bolivia is listed among the nationalities eligible for Azerbaijan’s ASAN e-Visa. A suitable electronic application can provide one entry and up to 30 days of stay within a 90-day validity window. Prepare the file from the passport intended for travel, paying particular attention to the identity fields and the dates used in the application.
Check every passport detail before entering it
Begin with the passport’s identification page and the instructions on the actual ASAN form. Copy the requested name, nationality, number and dates from the document. A familiar national identity number or the name saved in a travel account should not override the passport information being requested.
If the form's name-entry instructions are unclear for your passport, seek clarification before submission. Check how each requested part of the name should be entered so that the completed record corresponds to the document.
Check dates field by field. Read whether the form asks for date of birth, issue or expiry, and follow the displayed date format. A plausible-looking date can still be the wrong one when information is copied quickly. Compare the completed fields with the document once the form has been prepared.
Keep nationality separate from residence
The Bolivian entry on the ASAN list concerns the applicable nationality. A Bolivian passport holder living elsewhere should not select the residence country as citizenship for convenience. Equally, living in Bolivia does not establish Bolivian nationality for a person travelling on another passport.
For multiple citizenship, select the country corresponding to the document intended for Azerbaijan. Keep that same passport for the application evidence and journey. ASAN’s conditions make an e-Visa invalid where the application document and travel document differ.
Check other travellers independently in the ASAN eligible-country directory. Shared accommodation or a family booking does not establish identical eligibility. For a temporary, emergency or non-national document, confirm whether that actual category is suitable before buying an ordinary-passport electronic service.
Prepare a copy that supports the entered details
Save a readable image of the identification page and open the saved file. The photograph should be clear and the text, number and dates legible. Check that the page has not been cropped and that a reflection does not cross an important field.
ASAN states that an unreadable attached photo page leads to rejection. The scan is therefore part of the substantive application check. Typing correct details into the form does not compensate for evidence that the system cannot read.
If the passport will be renewed, settle the replacement before building the final file. Do not combine the new number with an old image. Where a replacement occurs after an application or permission already exists, obtain instructions before relying on the earlier e-Visa; it should not be assumed to move automatically to another document.
Use the visa expiry for the passport calculation
The travel passport must remain valid for at least three months beyond the e-Visa’s expiry. Work from that end date rather than the final night of a short visit. A passport that lasts beyond the holiday can still fall short of the later electronic-visa reference.
Read the intended visa period and passport expiry together before deciding that renewal can wait. If the dates do not clearly satisfy the condition, resolve the question before official filing. A paid Urgent package cannot change the passport’s expiry.
The usual e-Visa itself is valid for 90 days and allows up to 30 days in Azerbaijan within that validity. Those are separate limits. Both the maximum stay and the final validity date must accommodate departure. Entering late in the validity window does not add another 30 days beyond its end.
Check whether the journey needs another entry
The ordinary ASAN permission is single entry. A short first visit followed by departure and return is still two entries. Unused days do not turn the same document into a reusable permission.
ASAN says a new electronic application can be made only after leaving Azerbaijan. Raise any return plan during preparation instead of assuming a second payment while still inside resolves it. Describe the intended activity accurately as well; the electronic visa does not authorise paid employment.
Choose assessment after resolving the file
Standard issue is within three working days under ASAN’s conditions. Urgent issue is within three hours regardless of holidays and non-working days. The application must be made at least the corresponding period before arrival. Allow time before submission to clarify identity fields and afterwards to inspect the result.

Retain the actual result
Use an email address you can monitor and check its spelling before filing. Application and payment messages are different from an issued e-Visa. Obtain the actual permission, compare it with the passport and check its dates, stay and entry count.
Print the issued document and carry it with the matching passport. If an error appears, seek instructions before travelling. Updating a private customer record or correcting a booking does not amend the official permission.
