The Bahamas is included on Azerbaijan’s ASAN e-Visa list. Eligible Bahamian passport holders can apply electronically for a suitable short visit, with the usual single-entry permission allowing up to 30 days within 90 days of validity. Organise the file so that the passport, itinerary and official decision remain accessible throughout preparation and travel.
Keep your passport information and issued visa accessible
Preparing an international trip can involve several bookings, messages and people. Give the Azerbaijan application its own clear record. Retain the passport copy being used, the intended arrival, the application reference when available and the actual official outcome. This is practical organisation, not a requirement to purchase additional paperwork.
If someone else is helping, establish which email address receives official messages. ASAN uses the nominated address for application and payment notifications and the decision. Agree how the traveller will receive the issued document rather than relying on a message saying that the form has been completed.
A payment receipt and an application acknowledgement are useful records of their respective stages. They do not establish that a visa has been issued. The traveller should obtain and inspect the actual permission before relying on it for the journey.
Use the intended travel passport throughout
Read the number, names, nationality and dates from the passport that will be carried to Azerbaijan. Avoid working from an old frequent-traveller profile or an earlier application: renewal can leave those records out of date even when the person’s name is unchanged.
ASAN’s conditions require the application document to match the document used for travel. For dual nationality, select the country corresponding to the chosen passport. Do not apply using a Bahamian passport image and another passport’s nationality or number. Check a companion’s separate nationality in the eligible-country directory instead of assuming a shared booking gives everyone the same eligibility.
For a temporary, emergency or other unusual document, obtain confirmation that the particular category can use ASAN before paying for an ordinary-passport service. The Bahamas appearing on the list does not establish acceptance of every document issued there. Residence and nationality should also be distinguished when another person is arranging the form.
Work out whether renewal is needed
The passport needs at least three months of validity after the e-Visa expires. Count from the electronic visa’s end date, not merely the return date of a short holiday. If the passport is close to that limit, examine the intended visa period before deciding it is suitable.
Resolve a planned replacement before filing. Preparing an application against an old number while expecting to travel on a new passport creates an avoidable mismatch. Do not assume an approval automatically moves to the replacement document, or that updating a consultancy’s customer record changes an issued official visa.
Make a readable copy of the settled passport’s identification page. Check the saved file rather than just the camera preview. All relevant identity fields and dates should be legible, and the photograph should be clear. ASAN states that an unreadable attached photo-page copy results in rejection, so replace glare, blur or cropped information before submission.
Fit the itinerary to a single entry
The usual ASAN e-Visa is valid for 90 days and allows up to 30 days in Azerbaijan within that period. Those limits operate together. The longer validity does not authorise three months in the country, and unused time does not extend the printed final date.
Check the intended Azerbaijan arrival, including connections and overnight travel. The date of departure from the Bahamas or another starting point may not be the date of arrival in Azerbaijan. Review any flight change against the actual visa start and end dates.
If the itinerary involves leaving Azerbaijan and coming back, treat the return as another entry question. One single-entry visa cannot be reused because the first visit lasted only a few days. ASAN’s conditions allow a new electronic application only after leaving Azerbaijan. Do not assume purchasing another application while still inside provides permission for a return.
Choose assessment after preparation
ASAN publishes Standard issue within three working days and Urgent within three hours regardless of holidays and non-working days. Applications must be made at least those corresponding periods before arrival. Plan some margin to receive and check the outcome rather than relying on the last possible moment.
Our private assistance has earlier stages. AZERBAIJAN TRAVEL & VISA CONSULTANCY, operated by Nexus Solutions Global Ltd., first receives your request and reviews eligibility. We clarify the service and payment, then start the agreed work after payment. We communicate the authority’s result after the appropriate official application.
For a suitable assisted ASAN application, our Standard total is 50 USD and Urgent total 100 USD, including relevant government charges. These totals concern our independent consultancy. The preliminary review and time before payment are separate from the official processing period. Neither assistance nor urgency guarantees approval.
Make the final document check your own
Open an issued e-Visa and compare its passport details with the booklet. Check the first and last validity dates, entry count and permitted stay against the latest itinerary. Print the permission and keep it with the passport used for the application.
If the application is refused, read the grounds communicated by the authority. If an issued e-Visa contains a discrepancy, seek instructions before travel. A private service cannot replace the authority’s decision or turn a receipt into permission to enter.
